As the new racing season kicked off last weekend, Spike Goddard was the first driver to be awarded Mobil Service Centre Master.
T-Sport’s National Class driver, Spike Goddard, has been voted the first Mobil Service Centre Master of the weekend for his brilliant efforts in the opening rounds of the Cooper Tries British Formula 3 International Series at Oulton Park over Easter.
The 19 year old Australian showed skill and determination on his British Formula 3 debut to win the National class in each of the 3 Oulton races. In addition, Spike led the race three for five laps ahead of a field of faster and newer international class cars after making a great start from the front row of the grid.
Lisa Crampton, SRO General Manager, commending Spike said “his great driving in his first weekend in F3 was a stand out within all the F3/GT action at Oulton.”
Darren Borras, Commercial Director of WP Group, said “It was a great way to kick start the 2012 F3 racing season, and we are pleased to hear that Spike has been awarded with the Mobil Service Master after his great efforts at the weekend.”
