WP Group’s specialist motorsport fuel and lubricants division, WP Racing, seals partnership as official fuel and lubricant supplier to the Renault UK Clio Cup for twelfth consecutive year.
WP Racing’s long-standing relationship with Renault UK and Renault Sport enters its 12th year as both see exciting growth and greater opportunities to showcase their strengths. This year’s Renault UK Clio Cup will feature the brand new Clio Renaultsport 200 Turbo EDC, which is not only an astoundingly great looking road and race car, but it’s ready to offer even greater action that the Championship is renowned for.
The 1.6 litre turbo-powered, 220bhp-producing Renault engine will be fed by WP Racing’s specialist Renault spec fuel and ELF lubricants. The Championship, known as the breeding grounds for tomorrow’s Touring Car and Sports Car champions will be serviced by WP Racing’s team of experts and industry leading bespoke trackside testing. With some races having grids set with only 1.5 seconds between first place and the 20th car on the grid, WP Racing will ensure a level playing field for all competitors in the Series.
Ian Watson, BARC, Renault UK Clio Cup Promoter
